Show WEEK BEFORE TRAINS HOVE ON SCHEDULE The waters of Sevier and Piute county coun-ty have subsided sufficiently so that the Rio Grande railroad can begin at once repairing the roads. The railroads in Sanpete county have also bten heavily damaged. General Superintendent Elliott El-liott returned from a trip through the country this morning, but was unable to give definitely the amount of damage that has been done. In many places the tracks have been washed out and the bridges have been carried away. In the Salina cut-off' a great deal of the track has been washed out by the rising waters of Salina creek, which has been higher than usual this year. This will be repaired and the track placed in good condition, although al-though it is not used. i Gangs of men have been set to work fixing up the tracks, and It will be a week before trains are moving over the tracks again on schedule time. |
