Show MINING COMPANY IS SUED fOR DAMAGES Frank Arrizonl has brought suit for damages against the Utah Consolidated Mining company for $2000 for Injuries alleged to have been sustained by him at one of the company's mines last February. The complainant alleges that at the j time he was working on a platform un-: un-: derground, at an elevation of about ! thirty feet, when the platform broke, ; throwing him on the rock below, crushing crush-ing his shoulders and breaking his right shoulder blade. It is also complained that he paid ' regularly from his month's wages a "hospital fee" of $L for medical services ser-vices in case of accident or sickness, and that the company neglected, for a period of forty days after the accident, to render him such aid, and that as a result, when the examination was made by the company's physician, forty days after the accident occurred, the bones in his shoulder had to be broken again and reset. - |
