Show XT1ZA-L3 A CAP 38 YEARS AND IS PROUD OP IT BURLINGTON, Vt., March 30. A cap worn thirty-eight successive winters Is something of a novelty, -even in this age of novelties. Such a cap is owned by Oliver-Lamora, is worn by him every day of the winter, and although many people pass him in his frequent comings and goings, none would imag- ne that the closely-fitting seal cap that s placed so firmly on his bead had been worn nearly two-score years. The cap Is seal and has seen hard and constant usage. The ordinary life of a eeal cap is much less than thirty-eight years, and the only reason given for the life of the one owned by Mr. Lamora is that the fur came from an unusual animal, ani-mal, killed at just the proper time and the skin properly treated. The cap hardly shows a slam of wear, and Mr. Lamora thinks it wilt last him aa long as he has use for a fur cap. |
