His Ninetieth Birthday. Many friends of Bishop William Thorn of the Seventh ecclesiastic ward, gathered gath-ered at his home last night to celebrate with him the ninetieth anniversary of his birth.. Bishop Thorn is In remarkably good health considering his age. and has no. physical Infirmities save a slight deafness.. deaf-ness.. His memory Is excellent. He was converted to Mormontsm In 1X61. and came here five years later. He had been bishop of the Seventh ward for twenty-five twenty-five years, when he resigned two years ago.
