Show JESSED. HIGGS PASSES AWAY Dies of Heart failure After an Illness of Typhoid Fever. Jesse B. Hlggs. second counselor to the bishop of the Tenth ecclesiastical ward, died at his hpme, 7 East Fifth South street this morning, at the age of S8 years, from heart failure, as the result of weakness following a long illness vof typhoid ty-phoid fever. Jesse B. Higgs was one of the most popular bookkeepers and accountants In the city. Since his return from a mission for the Mormon church, at the Liverpool headquarters, a year sgo last August, he had been employed as bookkeeper for the C. 8. Martin Coal company. Prior to going go-ing to England on his mission, which was of two and one-half years' duration, Hlggs was employed on the retail desk of the Z. C. M. I. Hlggs is survived by a widow and Ave children, the eldest of whom Is 13 years old. The funeral will be held Sunday after-niion after-niion ut the Tenth Ward meeting-house, ' and while the time is not definitely fixed It is brlleved that the services will be held at 2 o'clock. Higgs had been ill of typhoid for two months. , j |
