The barometer is highest over the Rocky mountain slope, middle and northern north-ern plateau; and lowest over the North Pacitic and Gulf States, southern plateau, Lake region, Ohio valley and Tennessee. Precipitation occurred over portions of the Rocky mountain slope, Mississippi. Missouri and Ohio valleys. Lake region. North Atlantic and Gulf States. It was snowing this morning at Denver; and raining at Elkins and Boston. The largest amounts were at New Orleans, 1.52 inches and Galveston. 1.14. Thunderstorms were reported at Cairo and Atlanta.
