Show MEMORIAL DAY IN UTAH COUNTY CAPITAL PROVO, Utah, May 22. A mass meeting was held in the county courthouse to arrange ar-range for observing Decoration day. It was decided to Join with the G. A. R. and properly celebrate the da by inarching to the cemetery in the morning and there attend at-tend to decorating the graves, and afterward after-ward return to the tabernacle, where a programme would be rendered. The following fol-lowing committee on arrangements was earned: Mayor Roy lance, ex-offlclo chairman; chair-man; M. M. Kellogg, representing' the G. A. R.; U J. Mllner, the L O. O. F.: Joel A. Johnson, the Indian War veterans; John E. Bott, the Woodmen of the 1 World; Joseph W. Dunn of the .Utah County Commissioners; R. R. Irvine, the Provo Commercial club; J. H. Denhalter. the Elks; S. H. Belmont, the Knights of Pythias; W. S. Rawltngs, Provo city schools; John V. Bucht. Spanish War Veterans. Vet-erans. A meeting of the committee was . called for today at 4 p. m., at -which a ' general programme was arranged and the I speakers selected. , |
