Show MISS FOSTER'S VOICE ( HAS A WIDE RANGE The song- recital given last night it Barratt Hall by Mrs. Martha Royle King, to Introduce Miss Halite Gilbert Foster, was largely attended. The programme pro-gramme was especially well chosen, to show the range of the voice 'of the young singer, who is but 16 years old. Her voice haa a range of two and one-half one-half octaves, and she sings with ease and grace, and a charming lack of affection. af-fection. Jier voice Is now a mezzo soprano, so-prano, - but her. teacher says It will de- velop into a sweet and pure soprano.
