The Call says today: The deal pending for several sev-eral months between the London Venture Ven-ture corporation and the owners of several valuable dredging properties on the Feather river for the sale of the latter has finally been effected in London. Lon-don. A private dispatch from the East states that the London Venture corporation cor-poration has arreed to take over the properties, and that Us representatives would soon be here to arrange a formal transfer. ' ' The properties involved are the Boston Bos-ton and California and the Boston and Oroville companies, the Oroville Gold Dredging and Exploration company, and the Bear River company. The latter lat-ter is situated on the Bear river. The price agreed upon is said to be $3,000,000. Among the owners of these properties are Messrs. Evans and Clark of Boston, Bos-ton, and William P. Hammon and A. F, Jones of Oroville. the estate Of the late Col. J. E. Doollttle, Fred W. Bradley, Brad-ley, W. H. Crocker, the Guggenhelms, John Hays, Hammond and several others oth-ers who are prominently Identified with the dredging enterprises along the rivers riv-ers in northern California. |
