OFFICIAL CALL FOR REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES AND THE CONVENTION The Republican electors of Salt Lake City, Utah, will meet in their respective Election Districts on Wednesday, September 27th, 1905, at 8 o'clock p. m., for the purpose of electing delegates to the Republican City Convention, which will be held at the Salt Lake Theater on October 3rd, 1905, at 950 a. m. SaiL.City Convention will select candidates for each of the following city offices, to wit: Mayor, Recorder, Attorney, Auditor and Treasurer. The Republican electors in the 96th District will attend Primaries Pri-maries in the 13th and 14th Districts, as they did prior to the organization organ-ization of the 96th District. The City District Chairman in each district will select the place for holding the Primary in his district. He should report the same to the Secretary of the Republican City Committee at the earliest possible date. The delegates to this City Convention shall also act as delegates dele-gates to the Municipal Ward Conventions to be held in the respective re-spective Municipal Wards on Friday, September 29th, 1905, at 8 p. m. In each District a Chairman and District Committee should be selected to represent the Republican party in that district during the ensuing campaign. Each Municipal Ward Convention beside nominating one candidate can-didate for the City Council long term and one candidate for tk? City Council short term, will select 2 members of the Republican City Committee, a Precinct Chairman and Secretary and one member mem-ber on each of the following Committees in the City Convention-Credentials, Convention-Credentials, Platform and Resolutions and Order of Business. The Primaries shall be conducted as follows: The Chairman in each District shall appoint three Judges, one of whom shall take down the name and address of all persons voting. All voting shall ' be by ballot, the polls shall be open from 8 to 9 p. m. Only Republicans Repub-licans residing in the Districts shall be allowed to vote. 'By order of the City Committee. F. C.
