Edward H-Harriman H-Harriman has been subpoenaed to testify tes-tify in the Insurance Inquiry, and probably prob-ably will gro on the stand soon after the testimony of several witnesses concern-ins concern-ins the Mutual Life's affairs have been heard. It Is possible that James H. Hyde will go on the stand before Mr. Harrlman is called so that the committee commit-tee may have Mr. Hyde's account of things to serve as a basis for questioning question-ing Mr. Harrlman. Mr, Harrlman, It is said, will be asked what rate of interest he paid on the large loans that the Equitable la Its former administration carried for him. Another topic on which light will be sought has to do with the settlement of Gov. Odell's suit against the Mercantile Trust company on account of his United States shipbuilding losses.
