Show NEEDED REVOLVER . FOR PROTECTION C. G. Beall and F. M. Bell were tried In the Police court yesterday afternoon on- charges of carrying concealed weapons. Both men pleaded guilty and explained that they were railroad men, who had become broke in Salt Lake. Beall had deposited the revolver with a bartender and had taken it into his possession only a half hour before he was arrested. He and his partner said they were traveling on' the freight trains, as they were railroaders, and needed the revolver re-volver and a pair of Iron knuckles found In Bell's possession as protect tlon from tramps. Their cases were taken under advisement by the- court until this afternoon. |
