Show HAGGIN IS SHIPPING HORSES TO NEW YORK SACRAMENTO. Cal., Nov. 22. Four special trains, operating on passenger schedules, are carrying to New York the shipment of horses from the Rancho Del Paso. John Mac key, superintendent superintend-ent of the Haggin ranch, accompanied by General Agent W. H. Snedaker of the Illinois Central railroad, traveled In the last oar of the fourth special. The shipment, it is understood, is valued val-ued at $1,000,000 and Is Insured for practically prac-tically that amount. The cost of transportation of the 600 horses to New York will be about $60.-000. $60.-000. There is a foreman for each train and four grooms to each. car. |
