Show FREE MATINEE FOR THE ORPHANS Management of the Grand Theater to Give Treat to the Tots. On next Friday afternoon Manager Smiley of the Grand theater, with bis usual generosity, has arranged to give a special matinee of "Harel Klrke," at 3 o'clock, at which all of the various orphan asylums and members of the infirmaries have been Invited as guests, and the choicest seats in the house have been reserved for them. Over three hundred of these guests will be present. Manager Smiley has also purchased one thousand toys and souvenirs which he will distribute free to each guest and patron of the house present at this special matinee. It was necessary to arrange for a special day and date, as the advance sale for the Saturday matinee for "Harel Klrke" Is so large that proper accommodation could not be given to the guests on that -day. In fact, the Grand will give a special matinee twice a year, at which the orphans or-phans and members of the infirmaries will be Invited. Every effort twlll be made to see tfiat each and every guest present Is made to enjoy the occasion. Through the courtesy of the Utah Light and Railway company, the invited in-vited guests will be furnished with free transportation to the theater and return to their homes. |
