Every department, it is said, with one or two exceptions, was fully up to the standard, and many surpassed anything that has ever been een in the county. The display consisted of virtually everything for which the "Dixie" country is famous, including agricultural agri-cultural and horticultural exhibits, live stock of all kinds, manufactured manufac-tured products and curios. There also was a pleasing display of ores from the mines of the county. Taken as a whole, says the Dixie Advocate, the exhibition was a decided success. While some few of the departments fell below par, a number surpassed all previous pre-vious years, and the fair directors are well satisfied with their efforts, ef-forts, for they can see that they are being crowned with success.
