Officer has arrived from the Goldfleid and Bullfrog countries, where be has' been In the Interest of the United States Mining company, and It la understood under-stood that his trip will result In the acquiring ac-quiring of a foothold In that section by j this concern, who may also decide to erect a smelter. Mr. Officer Is reticent about the probable outcome of his trip, but speaks very highly of that section of the country, and Us future prospects. F. W. Sherman, who has charge of the Dalv West milling plant, came in from Park City last night to consult with local officials of tha company. : j C. E. Deaner arrived from Goldfleid this , morning and Is registered at the Wilson. H. E. Freudenthal and Jake Johnson came In from the mines at Ploche this morning and report considerable activity In that section of the country. J. M.
