Show EGYPTIAN STUDENTS TO VISIT AMERICA CAIRO. Egypt. Dec It. Thirty-three Thirty-three Egyptian students have been selected se-lected by ths minister ot communications communica-tions to bs ssnt abroad to complete their technical studlsa Tsn of them will go to tha United States. These young men will study ths latest lat-est dsvelopmsnts In manufacturing processes. Following an agreement between be-tween the American department of commerce and tha Egyptian government, govern-ment, ona of them will ba assigned for two years' training to tha locomotive department of soma American railroad. Another will spend two yeara studying Internal combustion engines. It has been arranged that a third will pass four yeara' apprenticeship In ths naval shipbuilding yards, and another will spend two years In tha telephone service, Ths other six will spsnd thro years In automobile factories. All tha expense Incurred by thesa students stu-dents will ba met by tha Egyptlsa gov-srnment. gov-srnment. It la felt here that this program pro-gram wilt aid In bringing about closer economic and Industrial relatione between be-tween Egypt and the United States. |
