-1 Ministers Decline to Thank Baseball Club for Passes But Hold to Tickets POKTLAND, Ore., June 6. The Portland Ministerial association baa declined to adopt a vote of thanks to the Portland baseball club for season passes. Rev. T. II. Oallaffher had proposed such a resolution. Rev, W. L. Riley asserted that the ministers were opposed to Sunday baseball and that Sunday baseball was being played here regularly regu-larly under auspices of the club which extended the courtesy to the ministers. He had sent back j his, pass for this .reason, Dr. Riley said. There .was no announcement front any other minister ' present tthat he had followed Dr. Riley's example, but Bfter further discussion the resolution was tabled.
