Governors of the varlou a statea are urged by ; President Harding, In a telegram sent out from the White House and made j puh'le today, to call attention to the I opportunities presented for young men to obtain military training during the 1 coming summer at the clttaens' train- Ing camps. I The text of the president's telegram i follows I "Apparently all agree that every I young man who la willing to prepare himself for the defense of his country coun-try should he given the opportunity. To this end I suggest tht you bring to , the attention of the cltlxens of your state the opportunity now presented to them by the cltlxens' military training train-ing camps which will be conducted during dur-ing the coming summer. Without any c-t or military obligation to themselves them-selves the young men accepted for these camps will be given training which will be of inestimable value through the physical and mental development de-velopment received and which unquea-tlonahly unquea-tlonahly increase their value to the nation na-tion and to the communities in which they live " |
