Show PROMINENT WOMAN UTAH PIONEER Mrs Elen Harper Wallace Was Faithful Workers Worker in Church Prominent for many years in ad advancing ad- ad the work of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints a pioneer in Utah and one of the tho influential progressive women of the city urs tien Eien Harper Wallace wife ol f Henry Wallace died today at the family family fam fam- ily residence Second avenue Mrs Wallace was a native of England England En En- gland where she was born May 22 1837 1831 and emigrated from London May 12 1862 she sailed from Liverpool and walked across the plains from Florence Neb to Salt Lake City where she arrived October 5 5 the same year She was married in Utah February February Feb Feb- 7 1863 to Henry Wallace who wiio made nade the long journey from the Middle West to Utah i in the tho same company She was the mother of nine children all of whom with her husband were at her bedside today when she died The children are Henry J. J Wallace William R. R Wallace Howard A. A Walace Wai- Wai lace ace George H. H Wallace Walter A. A Wallace Ashley H. H Wallace Mrs John F. F Bennett M. M Ele Elen Wallace and Mrs Frederick W. W Reynolds Funeral services will vIii be held at tao family residence at 11 o'clock Sunday morning They will be conducted un- un ler direction of Bishop Thomas Thom A.
