Entertainment Treat The University of oC Utah has done it again Its production of the famous Broadway musical Kiss Me lc Kate one of the funniest and most entertaining shows of recent years is a ten tenstrike It assures that the 1952 Summer Festival season w will ll be once more a success I I Kiss Iss iss ss Me l Kate is particularly noteworthy noteworthy noteworthy note note- worthy because it features the original star of oC the production Patricia Morison She gives a performance which literally brings down the house And she is ably supported by y two other imported stars Jon the swashbuckling male lead who wins Utah favor again as he did last year in the o i Summer Festival productions and Rudy Tone who does an excellent job as actor singer and dan dan- But most significant to Utah from the standpoint of pride in achievement is the fact all the rest of the production was per cent Utahn from Utahn-from from direction and choreography and costuming to dancers and chorus supporting players and staff V Worthy orthy of special note in this connection is the fine performance of the second feminine lead Emma Lou Warren a University of Utah student It is indeed always astounding to note the Utah talent brought forth at these Summer Festival productions It was notable notable notable not not- able in Kiss Me Kate and we do not doubt it will be equally notable in Sams Samson Samson Sam s son n and Delilah which in a three-day three stand July 17 18 and 19 follows the I Broadway musical comedy's to Monday-to- Saturday run this week The University of oC Utah and its music and drama directors are to be congratulated congratulated congratulated on bringing another fine top caliber caliber caliber cali cali- ber entertainment spectacle to Utah It Itis Itis Itis is a real summer under the treat treat treat- not the least of the beauties of oC which is the fact it is available at rock bottom prices That as well weIl as the quality of the entertainment makes these Summer Festival productions something no Utahn should miss
