Show O THREE AREAS NOW DESIGNATED FOR ARROW HUNTERS Three Utah areas have been esignated for bow and arrow hunters this fall, D. M. Gaufin, in charge of big game management, manage-ment, state fish and game department, depart-ment, announced. The areas, on whcih deer of I'ither sex may be taken provided provid-ed the archer has purchased a permit, are: That part of the Ogden Og-den game preserve south of the Ogden river; that portion of the Big Cottonwood game preserve east of Salt Lake City including and between Emigration and Big Cottonwood canyons, and all of the Oak Creek drainage near Oak City in Millard county. The season for the archery hunt will be October 13 through October 28, or five days preceding preced-ing the regular deer season opening open-ing on October 18. The Ogden preserve area will be exclusive tor archers during the entire season while the other two will be exclusive only during dur-ing the five days preceding the regular season. Archers must abide by the following fol-lowing equipment regulations based on recommendations of the National Archery Ass'n.: Bows must have not less than a 40-lb. pull.
