Show family of Salt Lake City were guests Sunday at the home of Mrs. Marv Melich. Nick, a former form-er resident here, is working at present at ZCMI in Salt Lake City . Mr- and Mrs Mike Church of Bingham are the pruud parents of a daughter born last Sunday at St. Mark's hospital. Sam Olsen, who has been a resident of Highland Boy for the past three years, left Tuesday for Phoenix, Ariz., where he has ac-1 cepted a position with the Diamond Dia-mond drilling company. While here he was employed by the U. S. Smelting, Refining and Mining company Lester Rice returned to Highland High-land Boy Tuesday after spending spend-ing 30 days at Ruth, New He is now employed by Kennecott Copper corporation. Our most deepest sympathies this week are extended to Mrs. Charles Bnmhall and family in their recent loss and sorrow. Loved and trusted by all who j knew Mr. Brimhall, his memory will long remain with us- His willing and helpful spirit in making mak-ing our community a better place, in which to live will always be j appreciated And so to a lost miner's widow nnd family we extend ex-tend our heartfelt sympathy. During their visit they were dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Milka Smilan-ich. Smilan-ich. Also visiting with them was Mr. and Mrs. Steve Savieh and daughter Mildred of Tooele Pete Chanak, son of Mr ami Mrs. Ray Chanak was a weekend week-end visitor at the home of his parents. He is now residing in Salt Lake City. Enjoying an outing at Liberty park Friday were Mrs. Jim Bi-anchi Bi-anchi and grandson Norman, Mrs Tony Azzelio and granddaughter Josephine and Attelio Azelio The group also enjoyed visiting with many old friends and former form-er neighbors. John Bohc, son of Mr and Mrs. j Niek Bolic and student at LDS I business college the past year, j temporarily abandoned studies Friday lor a much needed sum-mer sum-mer vacation. During his college career John was elected as a representative re-presentative for all out of the city students, and is a member of the student council. He is planning plan-ning to return to school in September. Sep-tember. Congratulations are being sent this week to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sloan, who are the proud parents Of an eight-pound daughter born Sunday at St. Mark's hospital Mis Sloan, former resident here will be remembered as the former form-er Helen Uzelac. Rose Arko, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Arko and a recent graduate of Bingham high school has accepted a position with the Bingham Merc.
