Show YOUNGSTERS HOLD TOURNAMENT SAT j Under the sponsorship of Bing-ham Bing-ham Junior Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, run off of finals in jacks, ; hop scotch and marbles war staged Saturday morning at Bingham Bing-ham Central school. Queen of the hop scotch stars j is Frances Goris, fifth grade, of Bingham Central Kara Congdon I also of Bingham Central, came in second and Mary Lynn Gayth- ! waite of Copperton was third, j Other contestants in the hop scotch tournament were Nannet-te Nannet-te Santistevan and Darlene Anderson An-derson of Copperton and Carlene Reynolds and Dorothy Contratto of Bingham. Winners in the jackstones tournament tour-nament were Barbara Nelson, first grade, Bingham Central; Gay Armitstead, third grade, i Copperton; and Carolyn Stod-1 dard, fourth grade, Copperton. j The Bingham Central school tournament of fourth, fifth and sixth grade girls was won by Dorothy Contratto, fifth grade. Second and third places were won by Frances Goris, fifth grade and Lois Green, fourth grade, respectively, Xing of the lag and taw artists ar-tists is Aaron Vasquez and next 1 in rank is Walter Baese. To be-! be-! come tops in the marble compe-! compe-! tition Aron and Walter had to compete with Fred Hamilton ami Albert Gallegos, and Steven Downs, Eugene Wright, Arnold Stringer and Jack Peterson of Copperton. In charge of the tournament were Harold W. Nielsen, Bruce Ivie Jr , and Joe Vranes. |
