Largest Naval Depot in in the World FOR OR the first time timeto to our knowledge the Clearfield Utah n naval val depot has been officially declared to be the largest naval supply depot in the world We know know and and have known for some gome ome time time that that the Clearfield Clearfield Clearfield Clear- Clear field depot was very large and very important in the system of supply for the American navy but this is the first time other than by rumor that tha we have heard it officially designated as ashe the he biggest of its kind anywhere in the world Utah can take pride in that designation It is an n honor to any state to have within its borders the largest war establishment establishment establishment establish establish- ment of its kind It is especially an honor honor- to Utah an inland state to know that it has the largest supply depot for a navy within its confines But honor does not come without The reason the navy supply depot at Clear Clearfield is the largest in the world is because it has the thea biggest job of any naval supply depot in the world to do And doing d th that job requires requires requires re re- re- re quires man power Utah power Utah man power That's where the responsibility comes in It is up to Utah to supply the man power which will enable the Clearfield depot to do the job which has been assigned to it the it-the the biggest t job of naval supply assigned to any depot anywhere in the world A And d just as it is an honor to Utah to have the worlds world's largest naval naval supply depot it is isan an honor to any Utahn to to be employed at that depot Absenteeism is sometimes blamed on workers feeling too tough gh at the end of a week week and and then again it is blamed on too J t tough a a. week end I L 1
