N Stoker 27 21 was held for trial in district co court rt on first degree e murder charges after preliminary preliminary pre pre- pre pre- hearing Wednesday in which a year old boy testified to witnessing a quarrel that preceded preceded pre pre- ceded fatal shooting of ot Stokers Stoker's wife Lo Lorrayne rayne Stoker 25 The witness Walter Charles Chapman resident at an apartment apart apart- ment merit house at East South Temple street where the alleged slaying occurred December 27 1942 testified in city court that his mother separated the Stokers during a quarrel and that the defendant defendant defendant de de- de- de then went into the Stoker apartment and shut the door He t testified that Stoker opened the door doar and then shut It in his wife's face Mrs Mra Stoker he said then removed her shoe and smashed the glass Thedoor then was opened again the witness said and a shot was fired He testified he saw Mrs Stoker fall into her husbands husband's arms and that she said You shot m me Mr Stoker replied Mamma Ive I've shot you the witness said Dr Clarence R. R Openshaw city physician said he was called to the Stoker apartment at p. p m. m the day of the shooting and f found und Mrs Stoker dead from a a. bullet wound in the chest that apparently pierced her heart The defense offered no test test- mony
