Epperson of Sixth East street Appointed also with Mr Epperson Epper Epper- son at Fort Knox were Albert S. S Gowans son of Mrs Zella ZelIa Gowans North Main street I Tooele Ioele oele and formerly of Salt Lake City and Grant W W. son of Mr and Mrs Rasmus Sandy Mr Gowans has been in the army for two years and was a clerical worker in civilian life Mr taught Spanish in public public pub pub- lic tic schools and attended the University University University Uni Uni- of Utah as well as Co Columbia Columbia Colum Colum- um- um bia university and the University of Southern California Mr Epperson is a graduate of ot East high school and a former student at the University of ot Utah He also was employed by Utah Power Light company as a operator He entered the service March 18 1911 going to Fort Knox where he was battalion sergeant sergeant sergeant ser ser- ser ser- geant major previous to his new appointment |
