Show JORDAN HOOP STARS TO APPEAR AT BHS TONIGHT The natural and long-continued athletic rivalry of teams from Jordan school district's two high schools, Bingham and Jordan, will be continued with the basketball bas-ketball encounter tonight at Copperton Cop-perton gymnasium. The second teams are to play at 7 p.m. and the main game begins at 8 p.m. Coach . John Vranes' team met Granite last Friday and gave the district's strong team a tough battle. The final score was 26-23. While Jordan and Granite were battling in the headline game, the Bingham Miners were getting trounced 35 to 18 by the Davis Darts at ivaysviiie. Although the Miners were caught flat-footed at Davis, there is a possibility that the team will come around for a better performance per-formance tonight. Only players on their toes at Davis were Douglas Doug-las Reed and Don Crump, both guards, who gave good account of themselves. Crump has been the standout player on Bingham's team for the first two league games. Coach Warren G. Allsop says that practice sessions this week have been very encouraging. O . |
