The container will be placed at the tunnel Saturday, October 17, by Parker E. Gray, chairman for the junior chamber. Fat is essential In the manufacture manu-facture of munitions. Hunters who save deer fat can, in a small way, help in the manufacture of ammunition, replacing shot used for deer hunting. Instructions sent out by the General Salvage on "How You Can Return Bullet For Bullet" tell how to handle deer fat: (1) Take along a strong paper sack to hold your deer fat; (2) Cut out kidney fat, and strip intestines; intes-tines; (3) If you cut up your kill, save fat from back and rump; (4) Take your fat to checking station, sta-tion, or nearest depository; (5) Local salvage committees will work out details of collection; (6) Give your deer hide to hide dealers.
