Show Miss Shirley Johnston Was Tuesday Bride Seaman 2 C Bert V. Peck, who arrived Sunday morning from San Diego, Calif., and his high school sweetheart, Miss Shirley May Johnston, were married Tuesday evening by Bishop David Da-vid C. Lyon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Johnston. The new Mrs. Peck wore a navy blue tailored suit with orchid or-chid accessories and a rosebud corsage. The bridegroom's boot camp buddy, Seaman 2C Richard Rich-ard Hickman, and Miss Corlcss Conway, both of Salt Lake City, were attendants. Miss Conway wore an orchid and white afternoon after-noon dress and gardenias-Witnessing gardenias-Witnessing the rites were the bride's parents, Mrs. Maggie Peck, the bridegroom's mother; Mrs. David C. Lyon, Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Johnston, Mrs. Alena Bartell, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Johnston John-ston and daughter, Roberta; Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Prigmore and sons, Marvin and Gary; Mrs. Don Nielson and son, Mont. Seaman Peck and Seaman Hickman return to duty at San Francisco the end of the week. o |
