Show DAIRY WINS PRIZE AT US AC; TELLS NEW REGULATIONS In the 1943 dairy products competition, sponsored by the Utah State Agricultural college at Logan, Hogan dairy milk received re-ceived a gold medal award. Competition Com-petition tor cottage cheese was not held this year. It is pointed out by Glen Hogan, Ho-gan, owner of Hogan dairy, that there is not a shortage of milk at the present time, due to seasonal sea-sonal high production, but that a critical shortage is anticipated in the Salt Lake milk shed during dur-ing the summer and fall months. Mr. Hogan says that at the present time the milk bottle supply sup-ply is inadequate. Orders placed several months ago for new bottles bot-tles have not been filled. If local residents are to be assured as-sured of milk, it is absolutely necessary that empty bottles be returned daily. In the future, if empty bottles are not placed out, no milk will be left and customers custom-ers will find it necessary to obtain ob-tain milk at a store. Merchants will sell milk only if empty bottles bot-tles are brought to the stores. |
