i i I Makes Holiday Dish E j t A S S S S S S t S s. s MRS LYNDON DAYNES SNOW Christmas Delight Salad Given as Favorite Christmas Delight Salad is the favorite recipe of Mrs Lyndon Daynes Snow 1257 Gilmer drive and Mrs Snow contributes it to the series Favorite Recipes of Salt Lake Hostesses saying that it is particularly nice at holiday time since it carries out the seasonal colors Christmas Delight Salad 1 package lime flavored 1 small can of crushed gelatin pineapple 1 package strawberry flavored 1 large can fruits for salad gelatin 1 small bottle maraschino 1 small carton cottage cheese cherries 2 bananas 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Mix 2 cups of hot water with lime gelatin and let cool but not harden Whip mayonnaise into cottage cheese and add crushed pineapple drained Add to gelatin Pour into a salad ring mold and place in refrigerator until firmly jelled Prepare strawberry gelatin as above adding cherries Pour the cooled strawberry mixture over the hardened lime mixture Return to refrigerator until firmly set To serve remove from mold and heap center with assorted fruits and sliced bananas Top with whipped cream or mayonnaise mayonnaise mayonnaise mayon mayon- naise to which 2 tablespoons of fr fruit it juice has been added Next Mrs A.
