E Bowers First avenue right out on your trusty range as a grand antidote for one turkey dinner too many at holiday season It is supplied The Telegram for its series Favorite Recipes of Salt Lake Hostesses Veal Cutlet With Anchovy 1 veal cutlet 1 inch thick 1 egg eggJA JA 5 cup fat 2 cups canned tomatoes Vz Vs teaspoon salt 1 clove garlic flour anchovy strips Heat fat in frying pan Cut meat into individual servings Roll in flour then in beaten egg then in flour again Brown quickly in hot fat Make a smooth paste of 1 tablespoon flour and water add to tomatoes and heat with garlic and salt When hot remove garlic and pour sauce over browned veal Arrange small strips of anchovy over top of each serving Cover pan and simmer 15 to 20 minutes Serves two Bacon may be used in place of anchovy Next MRS 1 C.
