Mrs. Steffie Gerbich and daughter, dau-ghter, Boverly Jean, of Midvale, spent Tuesday evening; visiting Mike Gerbich who was recently drafted and is stationed at Fort Douglas. Opening meeting of the Highland High-land Boy Relief society was held Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. R. G. Steele, president. Pete Baxter Chunak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Chanak, received recei-ved his call from the navy department de-partment and left Friday for San Diego to begin training. Kathryn Yengich entertained the Stitch-and-Chatter club at her home Monday evening. Plans were made for the year's activities activi-ties and officers will be elected next week.
