Trail Builders Graduate to MIA Sunday evening in the LDS chapel the Seagull Girls of the Copperton Primary association graduated into the MIA Beehive and boys of the Trail Builders became members of the Priest- day, a delightful party was given giv-en Saturday. Lightning Strikes Copperton LDS Chapel Damaged By Electricity Repairs were made on the Cop- i perton LDS ward chapel this week to remedy damages caused by a bolt of lightning which Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Albert Al-bert Ray visited at the home of Mrs. Ray's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stratton of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis received re-ceived word Tuesday from their son, Kenneth, who is on duty with the U. S. navy, that he is ian certificate from the General Presidency of the YWMIA. A piano solo was given by Jackie Barlow. Pin awards were presented the Gatherers by Mrs. Flygare. The Gatherers then received a ribbon rib-bon and two violets from Mrs. Leo Thorne. Mrs. V. S- Barlow was awarded three and five year service pins from the stake YWMIA president, Mrs. Willard Nichols of Bingham. A reading was given by Elaine Cheever. Benediction was by Jenna Vee Larsen. Birthday Party In honor of Faye McKellar on her seventeenth birthday, a delightful de-lightful party was given by Lola Jean Gammell Sunday afternoon. A two-course luncheon was arranged ar-ranged to follow a pale pink and green color scheme. Birthday Party In honor of little Miss Beverly Ray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ray, on her fifth birth- struck during the storm Saturday. Satur-day. Three holes in the brick wall and 15 holes through plaster in the inside of the church stucture revealed passage of electricity from the metal steeple along metal met-al lathes used throughout the building. A ground cable has been attached at-tached to the steeple to carry off static electricity of any future storms, according to Bishop George M. Nix.
