STATE MURALS ARE PRESENTED Only the 12 large murals in the dome of ot the capi capitol ol remained Mon Monday Monday ion day following closing of the thirty thirty- third annual exhibit of the Utah State Art Institute The murals were presented to the state slate in a program closed the exhibit Sunday Other exhibits were removed early Monday Speakers at the program Sunday Sunda conducted in the rotunda in front of ol the supreme court chambers were ere Governor Henry H. A The speakers were introduced b. b by Miss Helen Sheets chairman of ot the committee of the public works of art project The work which you jou ou see in the dome of ot this building the governor said depicts the various events leading leading lead ing up to the settlement of at Utah and further events in m its development I 11 1 hope hope- the sons and of all of ot you will come to see these I paintings and join in the spirit of the pioneer I take the greatest pleasure pleas ure tire in accepting this splendid work as a permanent addition to the beauty of f one of ot the finest capitol buildings in the United States Mr who ho represented HIt R H- II Jr Hinckley western fi field ld director of ot the F FER E R B A at the c ceremony remony called attention not only to the munis mu mu- nis mis but to other art projects which have b been n completed in the state stale re rc re- re Following the program the crowd of ot several se hundred persons moved to the fourth floor where Mrs F.
