BANDITS OBTAIN 1599 FROM MISSOURI BANK SPRINGFIELD Mo Dec Dee 23 UP Two Two m masked ked bandits bandi today held up the bank at Billings and escaped with 1599 When Cashier A. A J. J Howard entered en en- entered the bank he found the bandits inside waiting for him They held him for 10 minutes until the safes safe's time lock opened the door Then the raiders removed all currency currency currency cur cur- rency and papers rom from the safe thrust Howard and a customer Tom White who casually enter entered d the bank during the robb robbery ry into the vault and fled tIed to a cr car parked outside the building They escaped with two companions who did not enter the bank Howard and White freed themselves from the vault and spread the alarm A er iffs Ws p posse was organized
