F Reiser recorder explained that work in her department has more than trebled due to H II 0 O L C operations Office per onnel is unable to keep up with the work resulting in an accumulation o of tax interest which b home me owners are arc unable to pay and the government will not bear because all checks are made out at the time loans arc approved ap approved proved and cannot be altered On suggestion of oC Commissioner B B. F. F Quinn both emergency matters were delayed until requests from the sheriff treasurer and county clerk who face ace similar conditions can be with those of the assessor and nd recorder At that time the board will probably authorize auth ize issuance o of additional tax anticipation notes and increase the te budgets |
