T Woodbury Cranberry Matchstick Ring Makes Colorful Addition to Late Fall Menus A salad recipe well worth saving until cranberry season rolls around is this offered by Mrs T. T Bowring Woodbury In the favorite recipe series Mrs Woodbury who is one of the popular young hostesses of or the city has found that cranberry matchstick ring makes a most colorful and edible addition to a late fall or or winter luncheon or dinner The directions directions di di- for making the salad follow fol- fol low ow Two cups CLIpS of cranberries 2 cups of water 1 package of lemon gelatin juIce of 1 lemon juice of 1 grapefruit grape grape- fruit ruit 2 1 cup of sugar 4 1 cup of nuts 1 cup of celery cut like match sticks sUcks Combine cranberries and water and let boil for ten minutes Drain To the hot juice add gelatine and stir thoroughly dissolved When cool add other ingredients in order named Pour this mixture into a nop- nop die dle ring and put in cool place to set When ready to serve on a large plate on which lettuce leaves have been arranged Fill the center with sweetened whipped cream This salad can be made as directed with one large noodle ring or can be made in small individual noodle rings and served in the same manner Thursdays Thursday's Telegram will publish a r recipe ipe for stuffed meat roll contributed by Mrs Henry Ashley Wallace Vallace
