Dewey Knudsen. Luncheon guests of Mrs. Denver Thursday included Mrs. Charles F. Sullengcr, Mrs. Heber Nichols and Mrs. Knudsen. Knud-sen. Mr. and Mrs' Mike Brisk and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Feraco were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen Monday evening, even-ing, the occasion being Mr. Fer-aco's Fer-aco's birthday. and relatives, and Seaman l c John Rice, who has been at Far-ragut Far-ragut also. Seaman Butt returns to Farragut on Oct. 24. Miss Norma Nicholl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Nicholl, who left October 11 to make her home with an aunt, Mrs. W. H. Butt of Compton, Calif., is enrolled en-rolled for her sophomore year in high school at the Compton Junior college. j Mrs. William T. Krueger of Cedar City, Utah, is visiting her husband, Ensign Krueger, at Ev-ansville, Ev-ansville, Indiana, where he is temporarily stationed. Pauline Barkle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Barkle, was home for the week-end. Sunday dinner guests of her parents were Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Booth of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Joel P. Jensen and children child-ren left Friday to visit a week or longer in Ferron with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Conover. Mr. and Mrs. James W. Bingham Bing-ham t left Friday to spend the week in Spanish Fork. Mrs. Tom Carrigan entertained entertain-ed at dinner October 15, her husband's birthday. Also present were young Tommy Carrigan, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Mitchell of Bingham Canyon and Mrs. Eva Doyle of Butte, Mont., who is a guest at the Mitchell home. Mrs. Howard Fisher of Beaumont, Beau-mont, Calif., former Copperfield resident, arrived Monday morning morn-ing to visit three days with Mrs. Heber Nichols. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cox had as overnight guests Sunday their son-in-law, Harry Davis of Los Angeles, and their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Fred Cox of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs, J. Dewey Knudsen Knud-sen were hosts at dinner Sunday Sun-day for Miss Grace Stevenson and Colonel John C. P. Hanley, commanding com-manding officer of the ninth transportation zone of Salt Lake City, the occasion being Colonel Hanley's birthday. Ruth Rebekah lodge No. 7, I.O.O.F., met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. James Denver with Mrs. Joseph Tome presiding. Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Walters of Salt Lake City visited at the Heber He-ber Nichols home Monday. A Scavenger hunt was enjoyed by the twenty-four guests: Margaret McKellar, Colleen Col-leen Robison, Janice Hansen, Jean Houghton, Norma Swain, Erma June Gammell, Bobbie Pullan, Tommy Brown, Jerry Mike Curry, Duvey Breckon, Gean Otteson, Earl Brown, Margaret Mar-garet Nix, Bonnie Bithel, Joyce Miller of Bingham, Walter Fin-nas, Fin-nas, Robert Bailey, Donald Bennion Ben-nion and Clinton Coleman. Lois received many lovely gifts. Light refreshments were served. Week-end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Denver were Mr. and Mrs. F. S. Maxwell of Eureka. Mrs. Fred Cox motored to Hoover Tuesday to attend the funeral of her cousin Mrs Edward Havlik, daughter Df Mr and Mrs. James Jackson, is spending 10 days in Fresno, California with her husband, Sgt. Edward Havlik. Mrs. Havliks little son, Edward James is with hi, grandparents in Copperton. Mrs Francis E. Beck and son pent the week-end at the home it Mrs. Beck's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jensen.
