D S. S Fitzgerald was ing lag on a county highway with a companion companion com corn panion Rodney Cushing Gushing when Aylett Aylett Ay- Ay lett leU and Farr waved at them to stop When Cushing Gushing declined to stop Aylett Aylett Aylett Ay- Ay lett and Parr Farr gave chase in a n stolen automobile and fired a fusillade of bullets into the rear of ot the Cushing Gushing machine Miss Fitzgerald was fatally injured and died several months later Farr Parr was admitted to the prison on December 29 1922 after conviction in Third district court on robbery charges He later was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment Although both Aylett and nd Farr have applied to the state board of ol pardons for commutation of ot the life sentences both have been denied The board de denied denied de- de nied Farrs Farr's application in November I de-I 1932 and likewise refused commutation tion to Aylett in January |
