Miss Ada Duhigg and Miss Alice Al-ice Virginia Brown attended the annual Methodist conference held June 1, 2 and 3 at the First Methodist church in Salt Lake City. Guests at the Community House Sunday included Dr. Ezra Cox, who came from New York City to deliver the Sunday church service; Mrs. Anna Oth-iem, Oth-iem, superintendent of Queen Esther Es-ther hall of Salt Lake City; Miss Eva Riggs of Pasadena, Calif., and the Rev. and Mrs. Donald K. Smith and daughter, Beverly Jean. Dr. Cox is a menjber of the national board of Home Missions and Church Extensions. Miss Magraret Bolich left Friday Fri-day to visit in Montana. Mary Matsumoto of Topaz, Utah, is a guest at the Community Communi-ty House. Mrs. Charles Zanardi and daughters, dau-ghters, Noreen and Betty Jean, left Tuesday for Tooele to spend a few weeks with her mother, Mrs. Ronkovich. Mr. and Mrs. George Konish of Sandy were guests at the home of Mrs. Mary Pazell Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Pete .aoala's Sunday guests included Mr. and Mrs. Gene Etcheberry and daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. EHeheberry's mother, Mrs. Zabala, and Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Osoro and sons. Miss Mary Susaeta, George Massa and daughter, Joan, and Marie Azzelio were Salt Lake business visitors on June 1. Brothers of John Joseph Shea arrived Tuesday to attend funeral services. The four are named Tim, Dan, Den and James, and with their two sisters, Mrs. Nora Dudley and Mrs. Maggie O'Leary, came from Butte, Mont. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Archie Steele were Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Nick Vlasic and son, Wallace, also Mr. and Mrs. Morris Mor-ris Jensen (Mrs. Jensen is th- former Ruby Koncar) all of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Keith R. Nelson and brother, bro-ther, Jimmy Abreu Jr., visited Wednesday with Mrs. Nelson's mother-in-law, Mrs. W. P. Nelson Nel-son of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Rose Pazell leit Saturday to visit a sister, Mrs. Katie Peko-vich Peko-vich of Sacramento, Calif. Mrs. Audrey Clark and family, Jane, Dixie and Jimmy, after many delays and changes of plans, got away Tuesday to visit in Las Vegas, Nev. |
