E Porter principal of or the Omaha Technical High school In connection with the withdrawal of Omaha high schools from competition competition competition tion at the state basketball tournaments at Lincoln Mr Porter asserted the action of ot the Omaha school authorities was not based on this particular episode but he related It as Indicating what was happening and might happen in the future It was simply elm sim ply an Indication of ot many dangers arising when large crowds of ot pupils are thrown together away from home Four Technical High school girls rented a room in a Lincoln hotel hote Porter said and then permitted three other girls girill not pupils of ot the same school to share the room without registering on payment of half haIr of the rent These three three- girls brought to the room two boys boya one of whom had hod liquor The Omaha girls asked the other girls and their company compan to leave but they refused fused Later r all nil of them were requested to leave by the hotel officials Nothing wrong happened except drinking on the th part of or the boys hos and noise noille we have hs' learned The other girls may not have been hl high h school pupils at all so far as u uwe we know t ty y WI |
