P hall Wednesday night Mr 11 is the Danish vice consul of Utah and the couple were presented with a silver loving lo cup as a token of the respect re respect respect re- re and esteem of their many friends The celebration opened with re remarks remarks remarks re- re marks by Chairman H. H W. W Hansen after which a Danish hymn was sung Then came the speech by Colonel Lund the presentation of the cup Andrew Sorensen president presIdent president dent of the bro brotherhood spoke A speech was given by Mrs 1 P. P J. J president of the sister sister- hood A soprano solo was rendered by Mrs l Q Buzukis There was also a piano solo by 1 rs F. F T. T Lloyd and the rendition of the musical compo compositions by H. H V. W. Hansen Speeches Speeches- were made by Mr 11 and Mrs and refreshments and congratulations cong ratula closed the event Mr 11 was born in Adens Denmark Aug August st 9 1853 and cameto came cameto cameto to Utah In July 1873 Mrs was vas born in n Jas Den Denmark September 18 1854 ana arrived in Utah in September 1875 They were married in Salt Lake City November 1 1875 Nine children chil children children chil chil- dren were born to this couple Mrs 1 Mary Iary Johnson Dagmar Larsen Darsen Thorvald Valdemar Joh Johannes Aksel Vilhelm Mrs Mathilda l Carl Call August George Columbus and Fannie Margaret The third child died in Oakland Ca Cal January 13 13 1890 and was buried ther there ther For nine years after their marriage mar mar- nag riago the couple lived in Logan where four of their children were born They then moved to Los Angeles Angeles An An- geles where they lived three months going from there to o Oakland Oak- Oak i land fland where they remained seven years Three of their children were born In Oakland In the fall of 1890 they returned to Salt Lake where their last two children were born Mr l was va-s as a a. member of the office force of Z C.
