Romney Issues Call to Distance Runners LOGAN Oct 12 Coach 12 Coach Dick Romney of the Utah Agricultural college has sent out his initial call to all long distance runners anc anti and they will gather this afternoon In Inthe Inthe inthe the gymnasium At this meeting the tho Aggie coach will outline the rules and regulations and stimulate interest in the annual fall tall cross crass country run Coach Romney has a large number number number num num- ber of former high school runners along with several Aggie letter ietter men who expect to enter the annual fall marathon Among the men Co Coach ch Romney will again rely upon are Melvin Burke and ad Verge Norton winners of the long distance jaunt at the Ule U. U A. A C. C last year and who won the one mile and two-mile two re respectively respectively re- re at the conference m meet et held in Denver last spring The winners of the marathon this fall will be awarded gold sil silver oil oil- v vet ver r and bronze medals to be pe e given I by local merchants
