Show xx- LAST RITES HELD FOR A. WATTS Funeral services at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Bingham Bing-ham LDS ward church were conducted con-ducted by Bishop David C. Lyon for Joseph A. Watts, 44 a special spe-cial timberman killed July 30 in a cavein at the Apex mine of; National Tunnel and Mines company. com-pany. Relatives from out of the state, friends, family and neighbors neigh-bors filled the church to capacity capa-city Mr. Watts was respected as a kind husband and father and a steady workman i Bingham Relief society Singing Sing-ing Mothers sang three numbers. "Prayer Perfect", "In The Garden" Gar-den" and "The Lord's Prayer A vocal duet, "Face to Face was eiven by Mrs. Phoebe Sid-dowav Sid-dowav and Mrs. Edna Thomas. Dale Johnston played a violin solo "A Perfect Day". Mrs. George Austin was piano accom- PaOpening prayer was by Alfred G. Woodland. Speakers were Edward Ed-ward Hale of Salt Lake City, Eugene Morris and Bishop Lyon. Stiilman O. Nichols gave the benediction. be-nediction. . wm Po. . Pallbearers were Martin Pe-china, Pe-china, H. T. Wilcox, James Arthur Ar-thur Hall, Ernest Sperger, Arthur Barney and Harold R.Barton. Burial was in Bingham cemetery ceme-tery under direction of Bingham mortuary. Edwin C. Blair of Salt Lake City dedicated the grave. |
