Show BHS FOOTBALL" SCHEDULE GIVEN A comparatively small squad of Miners, 35 or 36 boys, work out each night at after school football sessions conducted by Coach Bailey J. Santistevan. Of this number 22 or 23 will be used in the Jordan district B-league B-league play, the remainder being be-ing sophomores. Lettermen making up the backbone of Bingham high school's B league entrants include in-clude Delmar Schick, Bob Nelson, Nel-son, Howard Hau!knecht, Douglas Doug-las Reed, Dean Stringham. First practice game is slated for today, Friday, at Park City. Play begins at 2:30 p.m. Next Friday, Septo.mber 29, Lincoln high at Orem will travel to Cop-perton Cop-perton for the first of the Miner's Min-er's at home encounters. Play is set for 3:30 p.m. Last preseason practice game will be at Wasatch high, Thursday, Thurs-day, October 5, with Heber. Opening league game will be on Friday, October 13, with Murray at Bingham. Remainder of the short schedule: Friday, October 20 Bingham at Tooele; Friday, October 27 Grants-ville Grants-ville at Bingham; Friday, November 3 Bingham Bing-ham at Cyprus. |
