S and the high schools of Salt Lake Granite Jordan and Grantsville Grants Grants- yUle villa will enter teams Those athletes who take tako points will represent their schools in tho the invitational meet of ot the state tate Institution which Is to be held hold on OD Cummings field May 8 Of Ol the five schools to compete in the preliminary meet moet next Saturday there are no phenomenal athletes There are however sonic some stron strong scholastic track men at the tho local high school Granite Jordan and L. L D D. D S. S but little is known of 5 strength The bi big ath letic carnival for scholastic athletes of I tho state is scheduled earlier than usual and the teams will probably not be as strong nor the men in as fine condition as in years before Salt SuIt Lake high school is strong in the jumps and has some good distance run nun ners nets Ta Tay is one ot the tho niftiest pole vaulters in in the and amid also a strong hi high h jumper juniper Kerr will run the mile and half mile for the tho west elders siders and Kin King is slated to enter in the quarter mile Coach Wid Ashton is reported lo to have haye a L stroD strong team at Granite this spring sprint and Dutton of Jordan is also aso stronger tron cr than before L.
