Noted Churchwoman of Payson Dies at Home PAYSON Sept 23 2 Z- Z Mrs Sophrona Adeline Adelino Stewart Bills a a. resident of Payson for tho past seventy four y years ears died at the family home in the Second ward Saturday evening from pneumonia after an illness of six days Mr Mrs Bills BUts was wao born February 29 m 1856 at Provo the dau daughter of William Wil WU liam Jam P. P and Adeline Wilson Stewart Her paren parents moved to Payson when she waS was very young ung She married Joseph Joseph Jo Jo- seph S. S Bills BUls in n the Salt Lake endowment endow ment house on June 23 1873 Eleven children were born from this union 1 Her husband and seven children survive survive sur vive Joseph Joeph 8 Bills BUtt Jr Robert L L. Bills Elmer Bills BUls and Erwin Bills of ot Payson Mrs Carrie Ringo and Mrs Firs irs Phoebe Freshwater of ot Los Angeles and Mrs Mary A. S church She served for fl fifteen en y years ar as a counselor in the primary twenty five years as a worker on the burial committee served on the old fo folks folks' committee and as a n.
