Show a junior chamber of commerce meeting of the Payson club last Thursday evening. Mr. Shulsen, Utah Jaycee youth welfare chairman,, chair-man,, and Mr. Burress, Utah na- , tional director, gave short talks at the meeting. Mrs. Shulsen, Mrs, Burress and Mrs. Adamek visited with Mr. and Mrs. Claude M. Williams and Mrs. Frank W. Thomas in Spanish Fork during the evening. Colleen Ireland of San Bernardino, Bernar-dino, Calif., arrived Saturday to visit several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Ireland. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Wimmer and Mrs. Murjorie Schainck and children, all of Ogden, were guests Sunday at the home of Kir. and Mrs. Eugene Morris. Re-nee Dotson of Pocatello, Ida., visited Tuesday and Wednesday with her cousins, Dennis and Dick McNeely. sons of Mr. and Mrs. Harry McNeely. Margaret Ireland left yesterday yester-day to visit Mr. and Mrs. B. P. Broadbent at Pocatello, where Mr. Broadbent is an instructor in the science department at the University of Southern Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Reno Marcon and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond D. Marriott and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace E. Johnson John-son and son enjoyed a steak fry in Dry Fork canyon Monday. : local notes: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Graham, Mrs. Robert Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Foster spent the weekend week-end in Ogden as guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Dowd. Mr. and Mrs. John Tibbie and son, Ralph, left Tuesday to spend a week in Logan. Ralph will remain re-main a month with his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Hansen Han-sen of Smithfield. Mrs. Arthur C. Cole returned July 16 -from Crestline, Calif., where she spent a month with her sisters, Mrs. Mary Ritchie and Mrs. Will Emerson. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Davies are spending the week at Fish lake. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan "Ike" Chestnut and children of Lav-ton Lav-ton visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Davies. Mrs. Eugene Jenkins went to Provo Saturday to visit several days with her daughter, Mrs. Richard Croft, and family. Ken Shulsen, John Adamek and Leland G. Burress attended |
